The ACBS International Show Pre-Events Planning Committee has been working for over a year to put together an amazing 5 days of Pre-Events.  Now it’s your turn to jump in and help.  If you are going to be at any or all of the Pre-Events beginning on September 17th, we need your help for any number of fun jobs. It’s a great opportunity to meet your fellow ACBS members from around the country as well as those in your own backyard. Contact Sandy Chase at sandy-chase@comcast.net or by phone at 408.219.8353.  Look here for the scoop on the Pre-Event schedule.

This beautiful boat is a replica of a 13’ Pacific One-Design class racer.  Member Mike Johnson of Walnut Creek is the owner.  Mike brought Pegasus to Wood & Glory XVIII to enjoy and share with all.

Wood & Glory XVIII

President Barbara Foster and sidekick Casey Arena blow it out in Maybe Not II during the maiden voyage of the Foster’s 1926, 22′ racer at Clear Lake, CA.  Barbara, later, let Dan (in the goofy vintage racing helmet) pilot his beautiful restoration (see pics below) done by the Casey Brothers, North Lake Tahoe.  The Wood & Glory event was the perfect one for the Fosters to show everyone what Maybe Not II could do!  She’s a beauty!
