Jim & Gail suggest dining at the classic Blue Wing Saloon (Upper Lake) or the new Vista Café (Soda Bay), visiting equestrian centers and museums, etc. when you are not on the water.

The Mount’s Boatique Winery is open to W&G with their award winning wines and complete facilities to tour daily from 11 > 5.  It is a great place to bring your friends, picnic lunch, hang out, and also enjoy your fellow member Bob & Madi’s boat collection, bocce ball courts, and Madi’s Garden.  Your W&G Boatique Hospitality Director is Nahani Bohan – 707-279-CORK.

Sunday, February 3, 2018:

Back for our twentieth anniversary of Wood & Glory is the Clear Lake Island cruise and picnic.  We’ll cruise around Rattlesnake, Weekend, Monitor, and Indian islands ending up on Anderson Island where we’ll picnic on the Yeandle family’s lawn under giant oak trees.  Bring your anchor and lunch.

Lakeport Sprint Boat Grand Prix race boat event.  Sanctioned by Southern California Speedboat Club, this event will feature 8 classes of contemporary world-class race boats with speeds to 140 MPH. This is NOT a W&G / ACBS activity; yet we support them and our fellow ACBS member, Rolf Kriken 707-489-0067, can tell you all about these racers.  We anticipate some of our members will want to “classic boat” on up to Lakeport during your open time options.
