June 4, Evening – 5:30pm   Hosted reception, courtesy Donna & Allen Thomas, Corinthian Bay Home

June 5, Friday – More open time; go boating (to Lakeport races), visit with friends, just relax!

June 5, Evening – 5:30pm   Woodie Whoopie at the Lahti Family Lake Home, Buckingham Point

June 6, Saturday – 10 am    Boat Parade to Show and Luncheon, Konocti Vista Casino & Resort

June 6, Evening – 6 pm    Wood & Glory Celebration Dinner, Boatique Winery, Bob & Madi Mount

June 7, Morning – 10:30 am Cruise or drive to our final lunch gathering at Lakeport’s Library Park

A complete summary of activities both on and off the water offered under Boater’s Guidebook selections.   Jim & Gail suggest – dining at the classic Blue Wing Saloon (Upper Lake) or the Saw Shop (Kelseyville), visiting equestrian centers and museums, etc. when you are not on the water.

Lake County Winery Association’s complete member listing & winery details.  W&G is an associate member of the LCWA.  Their website presents a wonderful review of their 50 Lake County winery members. Gene and Sue Dangel 925-937-9213, sgdangel@sbcglobal.net are our Chapter’s W&G winery “advisors” and will assist you with your own “Wine & Glory Tour” needs.

The Mount’s Boatique Winery is open to W&G with their award winning wines and complete facilities to tour daily from 11 > 5.  It is a great place to bring your friends, picnic lunch, hang out, and also enjoy your fellow member Bob & Madi’s boat collection, bocce ball courts, and Madi’s Garden.  Your W&G Boatique Hospitality Director is Nahani Bohan – 707-279-CORK.

Sunday is reserved for the Wood & Glory Island Cruise & Picnic.  The destination for the Cruise and Picnic is not yet set, but it will be a destination that can be reached by boat or auto. We’ll cruise around some of Clear Lake’s islands and arrive at a fine picnic spot.  Pack your favorite lunch with beverages and do not forget to bring an anchor.

Vintage Race Boat Test & Tune:

The California Speedboat Association is holding a “Test & Tune” for vintage race boats On May 30st and 31nd at the Buckingham Homes Association clubhouse.  If you are at Clear Lake early, this is a “Must see” event. There is no cost to watch.  For more information or if you want to participate, contact ACBS member John Lawrence at (925) 787-2000.  The event will include boats like Pacific-One-Design, Cracker-Box, Step-Hydros, and Sponson- Hydros and more.  This is NOT a Wood & Glory / ACBS activity but we do want to support them.
