Welcome To The 22nd Annual
Wood & Glory
Boating Weekend at Clear Lake
June 3rd-6th, 2021
Good news! We are going to have a Wood & Glory Boating Weekend! After over a year of no ACBS functions, we’re going to get together for some boating and socializing. We are planning on having a great weekend with lots of fun and boating.
But things are going to be a bit different than previous Wood & Glory weekends:
- The Boat Show will be replaced with an organized boating outing and parade on Saturday. With water levels exceedingly low at Clear Lake, the docks cannot be accessed from the lake because the channel is too shallow.
- In order to be able to hold our social get-togethers on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, attendance will be limited to 75 participates per event. We will have to be compliant with the Lake County and State Covid Regulations.
HERE’S THE SCHEDULE:
Thursday, June 3rd – Welcoming Gala at Alan and Donna Thomas’s Corinthian Bay Home
Friday June 4th – Woody Whoopie at John and Mary Lathi’s Buckingham Point home. You must bring your own picnic basket, no pot luck or grills.
Saturday morning June 5th – A Day Of Organized Boating and Boat Parade (bring your picnic lunch)
Saturday evening June 5th – Banquet at the Buckingham Club House with a silent auction and raffle
Sunday June 6th – Boat cruise and bring your own picnic lunch to conclude at Konocti Harbor Inn
LODGING: Konocti Vista Casino 707-262-3275
For More Information on the event or lodging call: Barbara Foster 925-989-3626 Barbara4acbs@gmail.com
NOTE: Further Event details, including start times, will be emailed to Registered participants prior to event.
IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH Lake County and State Covid Regulations and Guidelines for our type of gathering, PLEASE BE ADVISED YOU MUST SHOW PROOF OF YOUR COVID VACCINATION OR A NEGATIVE TEST FOR COVID 72 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT.
Due to very low water we will be launching the boats at the County Park using them for the day and taking them out at the end of the day keeping them on Trailers over night at the Casino.
